Plans have been lodged for a brand new residential development in North Lincolnshire.
Planners at the council’s planning committee will tomorrow (July 26) decided on proposals for up to 26 new homes on land at Burnside in Broughton.
Outline planning permission is being sought by European Property Acquisition Ltd for the development which includes three affordable homes.
The application is a resubmission of a previous proposal which was rejected by the committee and subsequently dismissed at appeal.
The Government’s Planning Inspectorate dismissed the appeal on the grounds that the proposal could not secure the delivery and future retention of affordable housing.
Now, European Property Acquisition Ltd has resubmitted its application subject to a section 106 agreement.
Broughton Town Council has objected to the application saying that the development would increase traffic in the area, change the character of the estate and effect the wildlife and habitats.
